  1. Can you help Jake and Jobe out of     
  2. their latest predicament? The "Jinxes"
  3. have landed themselves in the Kings'  
  4. dungeons, just three days before the  
  5. start of Winternight, the largest     
  6. communion of Jesters and the like in  
  7. Elmora.                               
  8.                                       
  9. In the deepest dungeon, 25 levels     
  10. down Jake and Jobe have only the      
  11. bombs they use to juggle and whatever 
  12. they can find to help them to escape. 
  13.                                       
  14. They aren't completely alone, a       
  15. selection of cast off toys, once      
  16. belonging to the young King will      
  17. either help or hinder them. Every     
  18. object in the dungeons has special    
  19. qualities and move in their own way.  
  20. You will find teddy bears, exploding  
  21. bottles, rockets and other strange    
  22. objects scattered around. It is up to 
  23. you to decide how to use them. The    
  24. dungeons aren't locked as such, due to
  25. the Kings odd sense of humour.        
  26. A varying number of crystals need     
  27. collecting from each dungeon. Once    
  28. collected, guide Jake or Jobe to the  
  29. Exit.                                 
  30.                                       
  31. In the game you can swap control to   
  32. either Jake or Jobe by pressing fire. 
  33. Look out for rubber ducks that shoot  
  34. across the dungeon, balls that bounce,
  35. teddies that can be pushed, rockets   
  36. that can be lauched and explosive     
  37. bottles. If an object hits Jake or    
  38. Jobe or they are caught in an         
  39. explosion, they lose a life and the   
  40. level must be replayed. If an object  
  41. hits an explosive bottle, BOOM.       
  42. everything close is destroyed. The    
  43. only thing that isn't vunerable are   
  44. the walls, so don't go blowing up any 
  45. diamonds or the exit! You need to     
  46. collect ALL the diamonds before you   
  47. can leave a level.                    
  48.                                       
  49. For each level you are allowed a      
  50. varying number of "steps" and these   
  51. decrease every time you move, when you
  52. run out you lose a life and start the 
  53. level again!                          
  54. Look out for blocks with arrows on,   
  55. you and other objects can only pass   
  56. though these in the direction of the  
  57. arrows, either up/down or left/right. 
  58.                                       
  59. Above all, experiment. Have a play    
  60. around pushing different blocks around
  61. and see what happens. Some crystals   
  62. may be "trapped" by other objects and 
  63. you will have to find a way of getting
  64. to them safely.                       
  65.                                       
  66. When you complete a level you are     
  67. asked if you wish to save your current
  68. position, if you have lost a lot of   
  69. lives on the last level, you may want 
  70. to just try the next level or so and  
  71. come back later with a few more lives.
  72. During the game, you can set off one  
  73. of the bombs you carry, (the number   
  74. you have is displayed on the right of 
  75. the screen.) Press space and an       
  76. explosion will occur around you, you  
  77. are safe from this but your other     
  78. player isn't. So get him out of the   
  79. way before you do anything drastic!   
  80.                                       
  81. If you find yourself "trapped" or have
  82. blown up a diamond or the exit or in  
  83. anyway are unable to complete a level,
  84. you can press "Escape" to escape the  
  85. level, this costs a life and you can  
  86. try again.

  88. You can pick up extra bombs, lives,   
  89. and bonus blocks which reset your     
  90. "steps" to full.                      
  91.                                       
  92. You must collect all diamonds to leave
  93. a level                               
  94.                                       
  95. Only one player needs to walk through 
  96. the exit                              
  97. Bottles explode when an object hits it
  98.                                       
  99. Rockets travel up the screen and      
  100. explode when they hit an object       
  101.                                       
  102. Press FIRE to toggle control of Jake  
  103. or Jobe                               
  104.                                       
  105. Press ESCAPE in the game to escape a  
  106. level if you can no longer complete it
  107.                                       
  108. Press SPACE to use a bomb             
  109.                                       
  110. Only use bombs when absolutely        
  111. nessesary as they are in very limited 
  112. supply.                               
  113.                                       
  114. Think about what will happen before   
  115. pushing something!                    
  116.
